Runtime error when using Search

When I use Search to find a file, at the end of the search I receive this
message:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Program: C:\Windows|Explorer.EXE
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Only option is "OK"

XP Home SP2
All updates in place.

Any suggestions for solving this problem?

I will be searching MS KB this afternoon.

Try R.clicking "my computer" properties,advanced,performance,virtual memory,
change button,set C: to "let system manage" click set 2X,close out.
