Windows 2000 prof. mouse problems!!

pleae could someone tell me, when i recently updated my
windows 2000 profess, from the automated updates, why i
lost the double click on my mouse! On my desktop i can
open things with the right hand click and select open.
But i want to be able to use my double click again.
Help! Please.

You probably have a driver issue.
Download the driver for your mouse and update it through device manager.
If you have problems doing this, you can simply remove (uninstall) the
mouse, reboot, and allow it to be redetected. This should resolve your
issue. You may then update the driver as previously described.
