Windows 2000 Pro network not working with XP laptop..

my main computer is running Windows 2000 Pro, and i have
tried to set up a home network with a d-link wireless
router access point, but the computers cannot see each
other, and i cannot see any shared documents, even though
both computers are connected to the network, and belong to
the same workgroup.
 
Make sure all computers are in the same workgroup and that all useraccounts
exist on all computers (W2K/XP's). Got File- and printersharing loaded? Is
Netbios over TCP/IP enabled (Advanced properties of TCP/IP, tab WINS)?
