Windows 2000 Powered NAS

I have a Dell NAS that's running Windows 2000 Powered O/S with SP4. Currently, it's simply a file server connected to my domain as a member server. I am also sharing printers off of this NAS device

My question is can I promote this NAS to a backup DC (Active Directory) like a standard Windows 2000 server? I'm not aware of the "Powered" differences. Also, currently my printers are shared from this device--will I need to re-share those printers when the promotion takes place

Thanks.

I think the answer sits with Dell.

I had a Maxtor NAS that blown when I applied group policy. Turn out that the
policy does live with Maxtor admin functions. We had to call Maxtor to
reinstall everything.
