Windows 2000 log in problem

I was trying to set up home networking with my laptop, and when I went to
restart it, whatever I changed affected my Windows log-in. So now instead of
my username, password, and domain, it only asks me for my username and
password with a checkbox for log in using dial-up connection. I tried
entering my original password and it did not work. How do I get my normal
log-in with my domain back? PLease advise. Thanks in advance.

You have to ask your network administrator to re-register
the machine on the domain.

By changing the computer from the domain to a workgroup, you have
destroyed the trust between the domain and the machine. In doing so,
you have also rendered any domain login credentials as invalid. You
need to be physically connected to the domain network, you need to
have administrative privileges to the workstation, and you need to
have administrative privileges on the domain. Then you can add the
machine back on to the domain, after having first deleted the
computer's old domain account (unless you've also renamed the
computer).
