You'll need the Windows 2000 install CD-Rom in order to start any repair
process.

If your Windows was working fine but now crash, there should be one of the
following reason to make this happening:

1. Some system files have been change, that might come from recently
installed application/drvier/service. PS: Sometimes virus or adware can be
application/driver/service

2. Hardware failure: your hard drive may have some problem, including
corrupted boot block, bad data sectors etc. This can be a effect of
hardware life limit (your HDD)/improper power down (which may damage your
HDD).

No matter what, starting repair of your Windows as Dave mentioned may work,
but possibily works well with case 1. You better isolate the problem does
not fall into case 2 to avoid wasting of your valuable effort.
