Windows 2000 Group Policies.

i need some help on setting up Group Policies for Windows
2000 domain with clients being Windows XP and Windows 2000
Professional. as per my understanding i should update the
AD group policy on the Windows 2000 server to Windows XP
Policy setting as per described in article 307900. Once
done i can customize the GPO as per my requirement and
apply it on the OU...

Am i doing it correct.. Please advise..
Do you think im missing any thing. I just wanted to make
sure i do it correctly.

Hi,
What you need to do is update your Administrative Template files
(Windows\Inf from winXP to WinNT\inf to win2K).
In Microsoft's site you have a nice papper about that "Managind Windows
XP in a Windows 2000 Server Environment" in
http://www.microsoft.com/WINDOWSXP/pro/techinfo/administration/policy/default.asp
and it is easy to implement.
