Window XP Task Manager

Could some one please tell me what minimum processes I need to leave running
in task manager and how to kill the ones I do not need. I have about 40
processess and they seem to be really slowing down my system!!

Make sure you have a current antivirus installed using updated
definitions.

Depends on what you need running.

If you want to make a list to post or a text list of the process.
Drop to DOS and type in tasklist > running.txt

Running.txt will have a list for you.
