I was thinking of shutting down some processess in the task manager to
free up some CPU usage. Which processess are required to stay open to
run the machine?

Hello Ed,

Here is a list..... there maybe a few others here and there, when you first
turn on you system, and its done booting check it out, you shouldn't be
above 5% or so. If you list the processes here we would be able to help
you out, or you can type the process into Google to see what it does.

a.. Csrss.exe
a.. Explorer.exe
a.. Internat.exe
a.. Lsass.exe
a.. Mstask.exe
a.. Smss.exe
a.. Spoolsv.exe
a.. Svchost.exe
a.. Services.exe
a.. System
a.. System Idle Process
a.. Taskmgr.exe
a.. Winlogon.exe
a.. Winmgmt.exe

thanks for the reply Michael. Yeah, I knew I was running a little high
at 30%! No wonder everything is so sluggish. I'll have to look into it
in detail when I get home from work.
