Hi,

Using Win XP HOME, on a fairly new Dell, 2.4G - 512 memory

When trying to download Windows Updates, all goes well and suddenly I
get a blue screen advising me that Windows was shut down to protect my
files.

ERROR MESSAGE: MXdisk.sys Page Fault in a non-page area.

Mention is made of hardware components that were recently loaded that
may not be compatible. I did install an old Epson 580, but ONLY after
downloading and installing the XP drivers!!! That's all I have
installed since getting the Dell. Prior to this erro message, I had
been able to download the Windows Updates. I'm stumped!

Could sure use some help. Thanks~ Mike
