window pane to small

whenever i go to read mail, the window is small i have to
click expand to view it. is the a way to have these things
open in large screen.

Assuming you are using Outlook Express, mail windows will always
be opened in "normal" mode, even if you previously "maximized" them.
However, OE will remember the size you make the window when left
in normal mode. Instead of maximizing the window, expand the window
by dragging the sides, top & bottom until it's the size you want.
Subsequent windows will open in this size.
