Hi,
I was upgrading an older machine (it's only a PII)
from Win98SE to Win2K. I started with a clean hard drive
and installed Win2K just fine (formated - NTFS).
However, after the installation process the system
restarted and during the bootup (when you see the Win2K
logo and the status bar at the bottom) it just hangs, my
monitor turns off (like it getting no signal) and the
only thing that I can do (after waiting for about 20
minutes) is to reboot and the same thing happens. I
thought at first it was because I formated for NTFS, so I
tried FAT32 and got the same result. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Read CDROM:\support\hcl.txt.
It looks like Windows uses improper (W98) video driver. Boot in Safe or VGA
mode, unistall driver and reboot.
