Windns.exe

I've recently restored my computer from a virus and re-installed my dsl
modem. Now when i log onto the computer the internet won't work. I opened my
processes and closed things trying to see what was causing it and I found
that when i close a process called "windns.exe" the internet works again. I
was just wondering if anyone knew anything about this problem or how to get
rid of windns.exe

This file is not an XP nor System32 file, it could be malware or spyware.
Running a Google search got several hits but nothing definitive as to a virus.
Do a complete virus scan of your harddrive and...........

I've run a virus scan and I've had adaware on here for a while but It doesn't
catch the file. I can't find how to get rid of it either.
