winamp - no sound for music

I can't get any sound from winamp when I try to play mp3
files. I can play CDs from winamp, but not mp3s.
help!!!!!
 
Winamp is not part of Windows. This newsgroup is for support with Windows
XP and other Microsoft Products. Please contact NullSoft about your
