Win98/XP Pro dual boot

Hi,

I would like to install win98 and xp pro on two partitions of an 80 gig hd.
I want 20 gigs for win98 and 60 gigs for xp. I assume the file system must
be fat32 and I would like xp pro to be on C: and win98 to be on D:

How do I go about partitioning and formating to accomplish this? Can I do
everything from the xp cd rom or do I need to use a win98 startup disk?
Also, per Microsoft, I should install the older OS first. Is this very
important?

Thanks,

Dave

Make partition then install win 98 first. FAT32
Then Install Win XP with NTFT.

Then there will be a boot menu with XP being the first and default to boot.
Windows 98 does not have this boot feature and that is why you must install
it first.
