Win98 Client Problems

Hi i have just recently installed windows 2000 server sp4

i only have 1 dc running DNS - not active directory integrated, Wins and
Dhcp, Name Resoloution works Fine.

but my Win98 clients are unable to logon the Domain the Error Message are as
follows


The domain password you supplied is not correct,
or access to your logon server has been denied.

This message appears for everyone of my win98 clients (30 machines) my win2k
and Xppro Machines as fine. can any one point me in the right directory to
get this resolved.

Eventually if get @ the same machine and re-atempt logons if will eventaully
logon on the domain. but the process is quite slow .

Cheers , i sholud have said that i have trawled the technet masses. and i
have no trailing spaces on any of the 9x machines and have even renamed them
all and also i am running tcp/ip,

i have 3 nics in the server if the primary lan was not the 1st (On top)
above the rest in the binding would this cause the problem, 1 nic has no ip
the other has a ip for the same network but is not connected.
