Win2K3 Can't connect to company VPN

B

Barry

I'm running Windows Server 2003 and am using the Cisco VPN
client. When I connect, I get the following message:

The Client did not match any of the Concentrator's
firewall configurations.
Firewall Policy: Product=Cisco Integrated Client,
Capability= (Centralized Policy Push).

Then it says remote connection terminted by peer. I reboot
into XP and that OS works fine. What settings should I
check/change to correct this problem in Win2K3?

Are you sure the Cisco VPN client has support for Windows 2003? Also what is
the version of the Cisco VPN client you are using?

Thanks,

I'm using 3.5.2 (B). You think it could be that? Because
I also know that it was working for several weeks and then
after one of those Windows Updates, then I had this
problem. I tried to backtrack on which update, but when I
found out which one, it was one of those that was not
uninstallable.

But let me know if you have any other ideas or if you are
pinning it down on the version.

Ok if it was working on 2k3 earlier then it maybe not be an issue with the
Cisco VPN client's support.

Can you get the event viewer logs at the server end when 2k3 client is
trying to connect?

No, I can't get that info from the server.

I seem to be running out of options... :-(
