I had installed the win2k it had been working great.
Somehow the files got corupt. So I clicked on upgrade and
not it will not go past "Setup cannot locat the Windows
installation you wat to upgrade. Contact your
administrator." How do I get out of this screen and get
back to the original configuration and OS (win2k)?

Were you trying to upgrade to a new operating system or reinstall Windows
2000? If reinstallation, were you trying to perform an inplace upgrade or a
clean installation? If any system files are corrupted, or your hard disk has
bad blocks, that may be the reason why it isn't seeing an upgradeable
installation. I would try a clean installation, especially if you suspect
system files to be corrupted.
