Win2k workstation loses connection to Win2k server every night.

One of our workstations is dropping it's connection everynight. In the
morning when we try to open a mapped drive, it says" An error occurred while
reconnecting F: to \\servername\drive. The local device name is already in
use." However the user can still browse the internet and receive email, which
goes thru a separate gateway.

See if disabling the Autodisconnect timer on the server helps:
