Win2K to Win2K3

Eddie

Hi,

I have a W2K DC server that has a public share. We bought
2 W2K3 DC servers. My W2K server trusts W2K3 server but
W2K3 server doesnt trust my W2K server. I am going to
migrate departments over to my W2K3 server one department
at a time, but I still need them to access my W2K server
public share. According to Microsoft this is not
possible. My question, is how can I go about giving
access to my W2K3 migrated departments and have them
retain or grant access the W2K server public share,
meanwhile I finish the whole migration process to W2K3.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx in advance

Eddie

Can't you just make the W2k3 servers part of the same domain?
Unless you have a compelling reason to create a new domain that would be what
I would be doing.

I am making a new domain for the W2K3 servers. But once I
start adding the departments I need them to access the
public share on the W2K servers.
