Hi, I've just done a clean install of windows 2000 pro. I have
shortcuts to 6 largish (1.5MB - 3MB) excel files in the startup
folder. However only one of them opens when I reboot. All files can be
opened manually by the shortcuts in the startup folder. As usual I
seem to be the pioneer, as noone else seems to have had this problem,
at least according to KB and google.

Hi Numcrun,

Do you have Excel configured to "Display or hide multiple workbooks on the Windows
taskbar". For more information search Microsoft Excel (2000) Help for the words in
double-quotes. And if that is not the problem I suggest you post to one of the
numerous Excel newsgroups.
