win2k SP4 BSOD with winsrv.dll

I was upgrading a Dell server with Win2k SP2 to SP4. In
the middle of the install, the server rebooted. It came
back up with a BSOD, and said it was unable to
locate "winsrv.dll"

I read that this is a known issue:

Does anyone know more about this? I have heard from MS
tech support yet.
