Win2K iepatch

Hi.
I've downloaded one of the cumulative patch for ie6 3
times now from Windows update and keeps saying it's been
installed fine and all, but next time I start up the
computer, the little logo on the task bar comes up again.
Saying as usual "New updates are ready to download". And
it's the same silly thing each time. Has anyone had a
similar propblem and know the solution to it? It's also
doing that with a driver update as well.

AFAIK this is the 'Atomatic Updates Feature'. It can be disabled. In order
to do that, go to the Control Panel and there open "Automatic Updates".
There you will be able to customise them to your likings.
