Win2k Continuous Reboots

Older Abit SH-6 with PIII 550 MHz CPU. Recently ran
Blaster Worm anti virus software and computer continuously
reboots. Most times before the win2k splash screen, other
times just after. When it doesn't reboot, it hangs during
the splash screen.

Other notes: Win 98 boot disk works fine. Suspect I've
got a bad/corrupt win2k driver or .dll causing a shutdown
condition. Anybody have a similar occurrence?

I'm having the same problem, and now I am not even getting
anything on my screen. Did you ever get an answer?

After much troubleshooting, it appears that my problem was
a faulty hard drive. Turns out the drive was recalled for
having a faulty chip.
