win2003 fax problem

i hope this is the appropriate forum for this question:
i installed the Fax service on windows 2003 enterprise server. i am trying
to configure it to forward the fax to my email. supposedly there is supposed
to be a "Receipts" tab on the properties page of the Fax printer, but there
isn;t one.
when a fax comes in, i right click on it and try to email it from the server
but i get an error "Mail System DLL is invalid". I tried to uninstall and
reinstall the Fax service, but that did not help. I am able to email it from
my desktop .
what could the problem be and how can i fix it?:
thanks for your help

You can check the help file for "To configure incoming methods for a device"
and "To configure SMTP settings for e-mail routing". These are given below.

(1) To configure incoming methods for a device
Open Fax Service Manager.
In the console tree, click Incoming Methods.
Where?

Fax
Devices and Providers
Devices
device
Incoming Methods
In the details pane, right-click the method, and then click Properties:
For the Store in a folder method, click the Store in Folder tab, and then
either type the Universal Naming Convention (UNC) path of the folder
(\\network location\folder), or click Browse to select the folder.
For the Route through e-mail method, click the E-mail tab, and then type the
e-mail address to which you want incoming faxes to be delivered.
For the Print method, click the Print tab, and then type the UNC path of the
printer location.
Once the incoming method has been configured, in the details pane,
right-click the method, and then click Enable to enable the method, or
Disable to disable it.

Notes

To open Fax Service Manager, click Start, point to All Programs, point to
Accessories, point to Communications, point to Fax, and then click Fax
Service Manager.
You can also enable or disable device methods using the Action menu. Click a
method, and then click Enable or Disable.
To configure incoming routing through e-mail, you must specify the SMTP
settings of the e-mail server. For instructions, see To configure SMTP
settings for e-mail routing.
Security

You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators
group to complete this procedure.

(2) To configure SMTP settings for e-mail routing
Open Fax Service Manager.
In the console tree, right-click Fax, and then click Properties.
To enable incoming faxes to be routed to recipients by e-mail, do the
following:
On the Receipts tab, select the Use these SMTP settings for the Route
Through E-mail incoming routing method check box.
In From e-mail address, type the e-mail address to which all incoming faxes
will be received.
In Server address, type the SMTP server address of the mail server to which
incoming faxes will be received.
In Port, type the port number.
Click Authentication.
If anonymous access permissions are sufficient to access the SMTP server,
click Anonymous access.
For basic authentication, click Basic authentication, and then click
Credentials. Type a username and password.
If NTLM authentication is needed to access the SMTP server, click Integrated
Windows Authentication, and then click Credentials. Type a username and
password.

You can check the help file for "To configure incoming methods for a device"
and "To configure SMTP settings for e-mail routing".
Also what is the version of %windir%\system32\mapi32.dll ? You can find
this by opening the folder %windir%\system32 in explorer, selecting
mapi32.dll,
right click and select properties. Now click on the version tab.
