am having win2000 professional & a win98 pc on a
network&whenever a try to access win2000 from win98 it
asks for password though i haven't given any password
please provide me the solutoin for this .

Sujay,
Three things;

1. Share a folder on the W2k machine.
2. Create user name(s) and password(s) on the W2k machine.
3. Logon to the W98 machine with name(s) and passwords
you created in step two.

Assuming the physical network is up and running. This
should be all you need to do.
