Win2000 VPN connection not working from some

I have a Win2000 VPN server with around 50 users. Only
one of the users is having the following problem. He has
a DSL connection, he turns off the personal firewall, he
connects just fine to the VPN server, but once connected
he can't get to anything via I.E.

Most of our users have DSL and several use the same ISP as
this user and they are not having this problem.

Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing the problem?

You have to uncheck the option to use the default gateway on remote network
under TCP/IP - Advanced settings on the client PC
