In the microsoft security updates "823182" & "828035"
there is no download for WINXP home/pro, but only 64 bit
editions.Does that security patch apply on XP Home/pro ??

If you have xp pro or home then download the patch for XP Gold service pack
1(dont ask me why it still says gold, gold is usually what they call it when
its released to manufacturing).

You want the "Windows XP Gold, Service Pack 1" link
which means the 'Original version of Windows XP Home or Pro' [referred
to as 'Gold'] or these with SP1 applied
