How do I move "MyDocuments directory and profile" from C: to d: drive
without causing havoc, also another alternative would be to remove the
partition on my hard drive so there is only one.

Hi Aslaner,

1) Right-click the "My Documents" folder and select properties, there is an
option here to move it to another partition. You cannot move any other part
of the \Documents and Settings folder.

2) To remove an existing partition and expand the remaining one to encompass
the free space requires a third party partitioning utility. Any of these
will do this chore:

BootIT NG www.terabyteunlimited.com
Partition Magic www.powerquest.com/partitionmagic
Partition Commander http://www.v-com.com/product/pc_ind.html
Ranish Partition Manager http://www.ranish.com/part/
