My computer hard drive is partitioned into two drives. Drive C is 89% used
whilst drive D is 100% free. I am using windows XP pro. My question is how
can I remove the partition I would like all my space to be on drive C:. I
have used partition wizard to remove partition on drive D, but am no better
off my computer management console reads as:

C: 4.88 GB Fat 32 Health System 572 free space
? 4.88 GB Unallocated
Please help as my computer is running so slowly due to lack of space.
Thanks in advance

Use Partition Magic or similar util to resize without losing data.

I would suggest buying another HD...10GB is awfully small by todays
standards.

Is there any way of solving problem without buying new software or
equipment?

Move files to your D partition? Moving your Outlook Express store,
Temporary
Internet files and My Documents ( if used ) are all possibilities.

How large is the whole drive?

Hope this helps.

http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/
Download BootItNG from there...free for 30 days.
Expand it onto a floopy............read the readme file.
Use the program do add the Unallocated space to the C drive.

But I still say that a 10GB HD is a little small..........newer HD are
really not that expensive and fairly easy to install.By adding it as a slave
drive you dont even have to reinstall XP or any other programs. When you do
install newer programs you can install them to that new drive. You can also
move your Email folder over as well as Internet Explorer folder as well as
the MyDocuments folder.
