Defragging

I have 2 partitions, both NTFS.
My C drive is 29.2 GB total size, 16.5 GB free space.
The D drive is 82.4 GB total size, 15 GB free space.

I use O&O Defrag. Why would the D drive - the largest partition - complete
defragging way sooner than the C drive takes just to analyse the partition?

How many files and folders do you have on each drive? I would guess that
although the total space used on C is less than on D, that the number of
files and folders is much higher and this probably has a bearing on the
total time required.

OO Defrag is an excellent product, much better than the defrag shipped with
XP. However "Jerry" is right in his posting, its really a question for their
support because its unlikely to be related to XP.
