When is Windows XP Service Pack 2 going to be released?
There are now over 35 post-SP1 critical updates, nearly
30 recommended updates as well as driver updates. As an
OEM system builder, this is getting very annoying, as my
customers have to spend hours downloading all these
updates.

The current roadmap puts the release of SP2 at the middle of next year, I
believe.

Why should they spend hours.. Waste the $0.25 and burn some CDs for your
customers with the updates and a batch file to run to install them all.

There is no concrete date on SP2 right now, next spring would be a good
guess.
