win XP Prof won't start until i press ctr+alt+Delete

sinse the other day -a friend used my comp-i have probs starting my computer.
After a bip in the comp ,it stops on the welcome note on my screen and won't continue until i press ctr+alt+del.
Can you help me with some advise please!

This might be your answer

login and choose run from the start menu.
type "control userpasswords2" and click ok
click the 'advanced' tab and then at the bottom uncheck 'require users to
press ctrl+alt+del'
