Does anyone know a way to set up system so it can be easily be switched from
a Domain configuration to Workgroup configuration? I'd like to be able to
set up my notebook so I can switch between these two configurations to match
my customer's network configurations.l

That would work if all I wanted to do was set different TCP/IP settings using
alternate configuration. However, what I want to do is be to switch between
a Workgroup-centric configuration and a domain-centric configuration (My
Computer\Properties\Computer Name). TCP/IP Configuration does not address
this issue. I can redo the Computer Name settings each time I want to log in
to a customer's network, but Windows tends to creat yet another user account
each time (user, user.domain1, user.domain2, etc) and you have to go through
the lengthly "applying settings" process. Since I support more than 50
networks you can see that this will get ugly after a time. Maybe I'll just
set up a virtual PC session for alternate configurations.

Not a problem, snice I'm in charge of network security.
Wow! Just checked out mobilnet. cool. I ordered it. Thanks a lot, Jack.
Maybe I can return the favor sometime.
