Myron

I have lost my logon window when coming out of standby.
This isn't a problem cuz i'm the only user, but it bugs
me when something happens and I don't why or how to
correct it. Your help, Please. Thanks Myron

Hi,

Check display settings/screensaver tab, enable the line "on resume, password
protect" and in power options/advanced tab "prompt for password when
computer resumes from standby".

Roger thanks for that information but that's not the
window I've lost. I guess I don't know what to call it.
It's the one where you click which user account to load.
Like mine is a picture of an airplane and my name.
Myron

Hi Myron,

Oh, control panel/users/"change the way...." - you need to reenable the
welcome screen.
