Sorry I know this is lame, but new user to XP and can't
figure out how to activate spell check on email, etc.
Help!

Spell Check is not included. You can either buy a third party spell checker
or install Microsoft Office or Word.

Outlook Express does not have a built in spell checker. It uses one from
Word, Excel, or a third party software. You have to have one of these
installed in order to have a spell checker in OE.

In which mail client? Outlook Express?
Click Kelly's link, below, and choose "S".
Scroll down to the Spell Checker section, where you may find your answer.

First, you need to have a spell-check dictionary. Do you happen to have
Word, or another program with spell-checking ability on your computer rght
now? If not, you will need to download one. WordWeb is free.

Hi!Warren!
You have to install office suit first inorder to get spell checker in
Ooutlook Express.Once you have Word etc in your machine you open OE>
Tools>options>spelling> Check the boxes-"Always Check spelling before
sending" and "suggest replacements for misspelled words" >ok
