Hi,

I want to buy a graphics card but it says my OS needs to
be WHQL certified. So, is my WIN XP home edition WHQL
certified?

Thanks.

No the drivers for the video card (hardware) should be WHQL certified, not
the os. But they don't have to be. Many non-certified drivers work just
fine. Most of the big name video cards are whql certified. I've been running
a philips sound card for years now that was never whql certified and it
works fine.
