Hello

I helped build a system for a friend, dell 2 processor, raid 0 (2x125gb
sata), very cool system.

I fully built it and then the user installed the application tradestation.
It isfor dealing with shares and so on.

Ive worked with computers professionally for 10 years so the build was
good.. all updated every thing perfect.

The user has now contacted me saying the system crashes every day.
Here is the log information.

Any one got an idea whats going on, the video card was bought off ebay.

Hi there,

The PCCillin report seems to indicate a possibility:

PCCillin Report: Affected software: Microsoft Desktop Engine 2000- SQL
Server 2000
Risk Critical : worm -SQLP1434,A

It is well posible that tradestation uses MSDE and that this
installation has been compromised by a worm!!! Check out
http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/wlg/5118 for instructions on how to use
Knoppix to get rid of Windows XP viruses. After that I would recommend
installing a freeware virus scanner such as AVG.

Good luck and let us know how you go...

Not saying its your problem. But why are you buying video cards off
ebay? That's the last place system builders would shop/buy video cards
from.
