Win XP broke my MS PhotoDraw...

Help.
I just upgraded to Win XP and Office XP and now MS
PhotoDraw doesn't work correctly anymore. I can open the
program but am unable to open or save any file with a JPEG
(jpg) format. I've spoken with MS tech support(who
initially didn't even know what PhotoDraw was) and we
tried all kinds of stuff including uninstalling and
reinstalling Photodraw 4 times, to no avail.

Is uninstalling and returning WinXP and OfficeXP and
reinstalling my Win98SE and Office 2000 apps my only
choice? Everything including PhotoDraw worked perfectly
before I upgraded...

I need to use PhotoDraw to open and manipulate my 1000+
digital camera photos, so I need to fix this problem soon.

Thanks for any and all help you can offer!

I'm not experienced with PhotoDraw...but in
Picture It! programs...when there is a problem
with the graphics filters...you must search for
them and rename them xxxx.OLD. Then...
reinstalling the program will replace them.

Anyway...here are some articles that may

There is also a PhotoDraw newsgroup:

Go to the following site:

Wait for the page to load.

(if the newsgroup list doesn't load,
left click your Refresh button)

Scroll down the list in the left pane to:

"photodraw.discussion"

BTW, be sure to include your MS PhotoDraw
version and your Windows version.

Thanks for your help, but Photodraw opens and works fine,
it just won't open or save in jpeg format.

I've since discovered that Photodraw is being messed up
by Office XP and NOT by WinXP, so I'll repost my problem
on the Office XP NG.

Thanks again!
