Win Xp and Norton A/V 2003

Why did the computer failed to boot after installing the above mentioned
software?it won`t boot on safe mode or last good config or from the CD.It
freezes everytime
What can i do?I will go back to Win 98 se after that,i`m fed up with the
blasted XP.

Have you tried a repair-install from the CD? You may have had a problem
waiting to happen or worse yet, a disk problem. You really are better off
with XP than 98.

Think!

Installing an AntiVirus is not going to prevent you from booting from the
CD. You have other issues!

It is a brand new computer ,it came with the OS installed,i did tried to
boot from the CD,but after the setup screen came up(asking if i wanted to
install the raid drivers) i didn`t press f6 and the computer just hang up,i
did it several times with the same result,i think could be the HD

Did the machine also have another AV app pre-installed? Did you uninstall
it prior to installing NAV?
