Hi!

The computer is a packard bell with amd processor ..not important.
xp home installed from the beginning, it has been in use and working
for a few years.

Installed an ethernet adapter, some more memory and F-secure IS2006.
Everything worked fine. The third or fourth time I restarted the
computer I got 0x80090019 (product activation error) then automatic
logout. Same thing in all startup modes (safe mode, normal ...) and no
matter if the new hardware was removed or not.
So i couldn't goto safe mode and fix it as all pages on the net said i
should do.

Then the second thing that should fix it,
Repair Install.
When file copying was finnished, i got "Error Message: Setup Cannot Set
the Required Windows XP Configuration"
Heres the info on that: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=316425
problem supposed to be unsupported hardware.
removed the added ethernet adapter and sdram. Still same thing.

unsupported hardware... On a computer that has worked for years!!

So I removed all pci cards, replaced vga card and sdram.

Now I got past that thing but instead I got a blue screen and
0x00000050 Page_Fault_In_Non-Paged_Area Error.

Now I have removed caching and paging in bios, replaced sdram a few
times and i still have the same problem. So what should i do? is this a
win problem or some rootkit spyware/virus or something else???

remember this is a computer that had xp installed from the beginning.

1st Error: was it this?
"- Windows Product Activation -
A problem is preventing Windows from accurately checking
the license for this computer. Error Code: 0x80090019"

"[and F-secure IS2006]"

"Removed", or "Uninstalled" per the info?

See this page, your Error#. (Unfortunately, the secondary link is gone.)

http://www.theeldergeek.com/stop_error_messages.htm

Of note: can be caused by Antivirus. "F-secure IS2006" contains one.

F-Secure Support Page:

http://support.f-secure.com/enu/home/supportissue/fsis2006/

Says freeze-up can be caused by other firewall already in the system.
Was XP firewall "Enabled"?
