I have Win Updates set to alert me of new updates, not to automatic install.
I have chosen not to install an Oulook critical update as I do not use it
but use Outlook Express instead and nowhere in the detail information does
it say that the update applies to OE also. But now I keep getting alerts
constatntly to update and I do not know what else to do to make it stop. Can
someone tel me how to make this go away? Or should I allow the update even
if do not use Outlook with my Office 2003?

Thanks, Joan

Allow it.

If you uncheck that update and click on Next or whatever, you will be
prompted with an option to never show the unchecked updates again.
