Win ME to XP Home Upgrade OE Files and Folders.

On January 12 I noted that I lose all my OE-6 files and folders from ME when I upgrade to XP-Home. (Address Book is fine.) You folks referred me to Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 313055. I followed the procedure outlined and when I click "copy" in an attempt to transfer the data, .dbx files, to the "XPmail" folder on the desktop I get the following message:

"Error copying file or folder
(X) Cannot copy File
Cannot read from source file or disc."

I have now uninstalled XP for the fourth time! Help

1. Load up Outlook Express
2. Set up your email account
3. In Tools, Options, Maintenance, change the Store Folder
to your XPMail folder.
4. Click on File, Import, Messages
5. Select MS Outlook Express 6
6. Select 'Import from an OE 6 store directory'
7. Browse for directory containing DBx files
8. Follow remaining prompts to import mail.
