win avi crash

win avi crashes when i start it . it used to work . I have an amd xp200
processer with 750 meg ram Biostar mb xp home sp 2 . ATI radeon 9200 video
card and ATI tv wonder using ati mmc 9.03 I tried starting in diagnostic
start up mode . that did'nt work . still crashed . when i restarted all my
windows restore points were gone .

Hi mate, I have the same problem, whenever I start avi or dvd the
computer crashes completely. I tried Norton AV, McAfee AV, A square- I
tought that it is a virus- no result. If anybody has any ideas, please
HELP.
