win 98 to win xp 2000

win 98 but i can not read on my floppy on win xp

Not from here, no. The problem is probably incompatibility between the
two floppy drives, assuming the WinXP machine has a new floppy drive.
Try a third floppy drive, or read it on the old machine and transfer it
to the new one by LAN, CD, or something a bit less error prone than
floppy disk. Worst case, assuming you are online but have no LAN, email
it from your old machine (or one that can read it) to your new one as an
attachment.

This has nothing to do with Windows XP vs 98. The problem is
likely that the two drives are aligned slightly differently.

If you still have the 98 computer, try formatting a floppy on the
XP machine and then recreating the floppy on the 98 machine. This
sometimes works.
