Well i currently have windows 98 on the system, i
reformatted the system recently to see if problem would be
fixed but it hasnt. When i start up the computer with the
win2k cd in the drive it goes through the routine of
starting the setup up but then it brings up the error of
ftdisk.sys is corrupt, before it also had hidusb.sys that
was corrupt but hasnt shown since i reformatted. Help
would be great, thnx

Whats the exact error? When do you get it during the install? Does the CD
have any scratches?

Well the error occurs right before it brings up the
options to start installing, its immediately after it goes
through the files that the w2k uses. then it says that the
file ftdisk.sys is corrupt and i have to restart. I have
used this disk to put w2k on my other comp so it should be
fine.
