Win 2K stop error on install

I installed new MB, old one IDE's would not work. Bios
shows all drives and boots from HD. Error comes up saying
stop error a bunch of numbers then inaccessable boot
device. Tried new HD and MB shuts off when cd install gets
to "starting Windows 2000 " message. Any ideas? Tried to
look up previos support . microsoft doc's and they no
longer exist as this one . Any help would be appreciated
