Win 2000 > XP Pro upgrade - Removing CD files from Reg Edit

Problem Description: PC re-boots automatically.
Have read article 311466 and followed instructions.

However article says I'll find the files "udfreadr"
and "cdudf" in this location:
HKEY_LOCAL-MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services

I didn't, but did find the files in this location:
HKEY_LOCAL-
MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
\CD BUrning\ExcludedFS

SO .. do I delete the udfreadr and cdudf files from this
location? or not?
 
No, dont delete those. If you dont have the UDF and CDF services in the
registry then you arent rebooting because of those services. Does the
machine reboot into safe mode ok? If so, use msconfig to troubleshoot the
problem:
