Win 2000 and sound drivers

O

old lady tech

Client recently (as was directed by another tech) removed
all sound and game device drivers from his Win2K Pro. He
then installed the newest Nvidia GForce sound drivers for
Win2K. Then reinstalled the sound drivers that came with
the motherboard. Now there are certain wav files that his
computer won't play in Wn2K that played before. Error
message is regarding codecs; although he has downloaded
the named codecs and installed them. I recommended he run
the repair tool, he says he did, but still has some files
that won't play. Any suggestions?

Hi!

Can you bring the error message?

Also you should try to play file with all players installed.

Mykola.
