Will you deploy XP SP2 Windows Firewall?

Now that Windows XP Service Pack 2 has been released, the product team that
built the Windows Firewall (which is in the service pack) would like to
understand what plans organizations, or users, have for running the
firewall.

If you like the firewall and plan to use it, we would like to hear from you
and know if there are additional features or capabilities you would like in
the future. If you don't plan to use the Windows Firewall, or are unsure, we
would like to hear from you as well so we can better understand how to meet
your needs.

Our short survey about Windows Firewall deployment plans can be found at the
following link:

I'll complete the online survey.

Yes, I intend to deploy it across all the 2k3 domains I administer.
I intend to use the Group Policy options described here:

Deploying Windows Firewall Settings for Microsoft Windows XP with Service
Pack 2

Only thing missing is outbound firewalling.

( Oh, and, the ability to properly edit the built-in exceptions?
I run remote desktop on a non-standard port.
The built-in exception port # seems to be non-editable, so I need to create
a new port exception.
Am I missing something?
Why not set it up as an application exception, so the firewall picks up
whatever port Remote Desktop is configured to use?
Also, the remote desktop UI cheerfully tells me it's opened the necessary
ports in windows firewall, which of course it hasn't. It dumbly assumes the
default ports. Can this be made a bit smarter? )
